LOUISE

‘Louise’ is a capsule collection that is developed for an initiative called High Fashion Low Countries, a project of the Dutch Embassy in Belgium to create attention for sustainability and craftsmanship in fashion.

The main inspiration for these silhouettes is the work of Russian Paper architect Alexander Brodsky. Jantine translated the geometric structures of his drawings into three complex macramé pieces. On the garments, Jantine has incorporated 3D effects and colour variations ranging from dark red to ochre, creating an interplay of light and colour.

The collection is been displayed at numerous locations such as London Somerset House (during LFW), Modo Brussels, Ra13 Antwerp, De Brakke Grond Amsterdam and Gallery Pien Rademakers Amsterdam.
